We invited a group of representatives from Verizon Wireless to join us at the Brave New Voice Speak Green Performance yesterday. This year, we had an amazing group of youth from all over the country. The Verizon Wireless team were so inspired, that they gave us a free phone to give away to one of the Brave New Voices participants.
Considering that HEAR US NOW, was created as a non competitive space for youth to speak on whatever is important to them now, we didn’t want to give this phone away via a contest, a battle for clicks or tweets! That’s what the Quarter Final, Semi Final & Grand Slam Finals are for!
So, we’re going to randomly select a name from the list of participants in the HEAR US NOW program. That person will be given the brand new Blackberry Storm. It’s quite nice.
